When you have big dreams for your life you don’t want to waste time working towards things that don't align with your goals. You want to be intentional with the precious life that you have been given and truly "cultivate what matters"!
Writing out your goals is a vital step to achieving your dreams and becoming who you were called to be. Setting good goals for your money is basically just like drawing out a road map of how you want to be intentional with your money. Without these goals we wouldn’t know what we were working towards and we’d just wander around, waste our money, and ultimately waste our lives not working on the things that matter most.
I’ve set + achieved some big goals throughout the years that I’ve been on my debt-free journey. I personally love using the Powersheets as my goal planner because they're not only beautiful, they also have awesome prompts that help me stay super organized. For me, making that financial investment was really about making a commitment to myself. I was telling myself that I was serious about achieving those goals + it ultimately helped to hold me accountable! ...trust me, I used to be a yo-yo goal setter, but ever since I've had my Powersheets I've stayed the course with my goals each month!
I’ll be honest, buying the Powersheets was completely out of my comfort zone money-wise, but they have literally changed my entire life! Now I’m intentional with every single month of my year, and I’m accomplishing goals that I never thought would be possible (this podcast is a perfect example).
However, with or without the Powersheets you can still be intentional with your goal setting! If right now isn’t a good time to invest in them then at least start writing down your goals and making progress towards your big-picture dreams with the steps + resources that I share in this episode.
In this episode, Sami talks about:
How to break your goals down
How to discover your truth
How to focus on the big picture
How to set good goals
How to tend to your goals
How to celebrate your progress
How to cultivate gratitude
How the Powersheets can help you on your debt-free journey
Why the Powersheets are a good investment
“I was a yo-yo goal setter, I did not consistently set goals, and I made it pretty far into my debt-free journey I will admit, but this was a tool that helped me get to that next level.”
“Dreams are something floating around in your head, but they become decisions when you’re actually working on them.”
"We are going to get you intentional with your goals, one way or the other, Powersheets or not, we are about to get intentional with the year to come.”
